Andrew K. Milton

Andrew Milton spends his days with hundreds of teenagers…teaching 8th grade English (at Pioneer Middle School in DuPont, WA), during which he tries to convince 14-year-olds that writing and reading actually can be enjoyable and fruitful endeavors. To assuage his distress over the incomplete success of this work, Mr. Milton occasionally teaches college courses in international politics (Troy University), and writes—a blog called "Speaking of Education," and, most recently, "The Normal Accident Theory of Education."
