Mark Bussler

Mark Bussler is the prolific artist, filmmaker, and writer behind numerous science fiction, history, photography, gaming, and how-to-draw books. He is the president of CGR Publishing and the lead cover designer, contributing more than 300 covers to the company's catalog. His most recent series, Birds: A Photographic Expedition follows his return to documentary filmmaking and photography on a birding expedition.

He has written over 75 books, restorations, and graphic novel collections.

After teaching himself HTML in 1996, Bussler started to work on the Internet and pioneered Internet video streaming with “The Game Room” in 1999 on the startup website FromUSAlive. The Game Room is regarded as the original Internet video game review show. He produced and directed a variety of documentary films in the early 2000s and made a career change into publishing in 2017.

Bussler is a boring guy who lives in Pennsylvania with his wife and kids and spends his spare time drawing, taking pictures, producing music as Omega Ronin TM, biking, and collecting 1970s comic books.
