Claude Dancourt

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a writer. Then I switched to Egyptologist. Then veterinarian. I ended up an engineer, more or less by chance.

With an early retirement in view, I found my pen at the bottom of a drawer, bought a couple of lined paper, and started writing again. I write a bit of everything, because I enjoy reading different genres. Most of my work include romance, though.

I tried both traditional and self-publishing routes. I like self-publishing more, even if it takes more effort to find a really good editor, create or get a great cover, and promote… God, don’t get me started on the marketing!

But here I am, struggling with applied science and restless muses, training sessions at the gym, and trips to the bookstore. And I try not to kill my plant—singular. The other one died.

I blame the cat for everything else.
