John Lavernoich

JOHN LAWRENCE LAVERNOICH (Born on May 11, 1965) is the author of almost a dozen published books, including the first three CHAMELEONS, INC. novels (CODE NAME: CHAMELEONS [2002], CHAMELEONS TO THE RESCUE [2010], and TARGET: CHAMELEONS [2017]), the first three BEYOND THE UNKNOWN short story anthology books (BEYOND THE UNKNOWN [2015], TWISTS AND TURNS OF FATE [2018], and ADVENTURES INTO IMAGINATION [2021]), and the non-fiction book MEMORIES OF MY YOUTH (2015) – as well as various short stories and non-fiction articles that have been published in both in print and online by publications like COMICS BUYER’S GUIDE and online websites like WordPress, HubPages, Booksie, and Medium.

Mr. Lavernoich maintains not only four websites via his account with Weebly, including his official website and his online shopping website JOHN LAVERNOICH’S PICTURES SHOP & AUDIO & VIDEO SERVICES – but also five Internet video channels (including four via his account with YouTube), as well as additional online sites including Fine Art America, Etsy, and Fiverr. In the last few years, Mr. Lavernoich has hosted and produced a pair of audio podcasts devoted to CHAMELEONS, INC. and BEYOND THE UNKNOWN, which can be heard on and downloaded from such podcast websites as Anchor and Spotify; as of this writing, Mr. Lavernoich is currently working on bringing back his audio podcasts after a brief hiatus.

An accomplished illustrator, photographer, and filmmaker, Mr. Lavernoich is also an expert on various subjects, including pop culture history (a key factor in his writing most of his non-fiction articles and blog essays). Mr. Lavernoich graduated from Northwest Connecticut Community-Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in General Studies in early June 2000, in his birthplace of Winsted, Connecticut, where he continues to reside today.
