READ ALL ABOUT IT! The new revised edition of Marilyn's second historical novel OCCUPYING LOVE, set in the German Occupation of Guernsey, is available IN PAPERBACK from January 2022!
Guernsey-born journalist Marilyn Chapman got her first break when she was published in a football magazine at the age of fourteen. At nineteen she became women's page editor of her local weekly newspaper and later freelanced for national newspapers and magazines. Whilst bringing up her two daughters she worked in estate agency and recruitment, still finding time for her writing. One more dream remained: to publish a novel. This dream became reality in February 2014 with the release of Baggy Pants and Bootees, the story of one girl's desperate search for her long lost father. Marilyn's second novel Occupying Love was inspired by her grandparents' heart-breaking memories of the German Occupation of Guernsey. She has written the book to be passed down through the generations so her family's history lives on. Marilyn lives with her husband in Lancashire and is currently writing the sequel to Occupying Love - working title The Making of Maggie.
