David McFadden is a native Texan whose only regret is not receiving Christ at an earlier age. He lives in North Texas with his wife, Cathy, and boasts of four daughters and six grandchildren. David and Cathy attend Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, where they are active volunteers in various ministries within the church.
David is a man who has yielded himself to the Holy Spirit to write a variety of books that present simple truth with clarity. I find his books to be straightforward yet stimulating in the presentation of Biblical principles. McFadden’s books are for anyone who desires to grow in depth of understanding God’s Word.

My name is David McFadden and writing has been my passion for over twenty years. Sharing my love for the life-changing power that is resident in God’s Word is my entire motivation for the writing projects that you will find here. The “calling” that God has drawn me to is this: to write down and share the truth and to demonstrate the power that is resident in His living Word.
I have just released my third discipleship book, "Prayer by the Book." this book will teach and train you to become the prayer warrior you have always wanted to be. Moreover, you will make great progress in developing your spiritual maturity as a Bible-believing Christian. Your level of spiritual maturity is necessarily limited by the level of maturity of your prayer life. "Prayer by the Book" will carefully guide you, train you and gently encourage you to engage your sphere of influence with powerful prayer, taking you beyond timidity and fear of failure
I am continuing to write my fiction series called The 'His Story' Chronicles. I am almost finished with volume 7. The fast-paced continuing storyline emphasizes Christian values, as well as biblical principles. The first six volumes have been very well received. The book series presents scripturally accurate themes, guidance and plausible scenarios that we all encounter. Yet, much care has been taken to make the stories entertaining, as well as exciting and suspenseful with a few twists and turns to keep you guessing. Although the people in the stories are fictional, they face life just as we do. But most importantly, God becomes relevant to these life-like characters, allowing us a glimpse of how God desires to work in our own lives.
I challenge you to consider the 'His Story' fiction series because Christians are sometimes reluctant to buy novels, thinking they aren’t likely to bring spiritual growth or life transformation. Fiction does not mean false. Jesus often told stories in the form of parables to help reveal truth in a tangible and relatable way. Some of those stories were fictional. In other words, He created visual images in the minds of His listeners so He could demonstrate a relevant truth.
Thanks, David E. McFadden
