Lynne Hagmeier

Lynne Hagmeier has been a lover of all things sewing since discovering her Gramma's scrap bag and button jar when she was a little girl stitching doll clothes. She discovered quilting about 30 years ago, first making small quilts to sell at craft shows, working in a quilt shop, then selling the patterns for her original designs. Moda Fabrics admired her quilts at Quilt Market and offered her the opportunity to design fabric in 1999. Quilting became her life, full of designing fabric to make quilts, writing books and patterns and teaching workshops to quilters all across the country and on quilting cruises. In addition, she and her husband, Robert, operate Kansas Troubles Quilters Quilt Shop and host quilting retreats in her hometown of Bennington, Kansas.
