Gbenga Showunmi

Gbenga Showunmi, the founder and president of DestinyStar Ministries International is an anointed and dynamic teacher of God’s Word. He is a visionary leader with an apostolic calling to train and equip believers, moving them from where they are to where they ought to be in God’s agenda. He responded to the call of God for ministry at the age of 19, from then, he has been impacting many lives through his dynamic ministry.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s of Divinity Degree from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Oklahoma. He has ministered in several conferences, seminar, and revival programs worldwide. His passion is to raise believers to discover, maximize, and fulfil their divine destinies.

He hosts monthly Breakthrough Weekend that has recorded outstanding miracles, signs and wonders. His annual Destiny Explosion Conference draws great attendance all over New York and the Tri-state area. He is the author of four books including the best selling, MOVING FORWARD IN THE STORM.

He is married to his best friend, Victoria Showunmi. Their relationship is blessed with two boys and a girl- Toluwani, Oluwatobi and Temitayo.
