Jack Beddall

Jack Beddall loves the west. The real people who settled this area, from Tom Horn and Harry Longabaugh to Liver Eatin’ Johnston and Teddy Blue Abbott, bring a character and an ethic that belongs to no other time and place. The west itself, with big sky and big mountains, cold hearts and cold winters, cattle barons and cattle thieves, tall trees and tall tales, is slowly passing into the cultural graveyard that has swallowed so many other times and places. Writers, singers, poets, artists, and photographers, have all attempted to capture it in some way for us, to save it for the generations who will follow. Jack is indebted to all of them.
