John C. Richards Jr.

John Richards is a lawyer and pastor who currently serves as the Connections Pastor at Saint Mark Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. He also serves as the co-founder of A Better Glynn, a catalytic organization formed in his hometown in the wake of Ahmaud Arbery's death. His work has been featured in Time Magazine, The Washington Post, NBC, and NPR.

John received his B.A. from Morehouse College, a J.D. from Howard University School of Law, and an M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary.

John's mission is to faithfully engage communities in matters of faith and justice. He lives at the intersection of culture and the Cross. He speaks at various conferences and events, touching on relationships, discipleship, spiritual disciplines, and faithfulness to Scripture. John lives in Little Rock with his wife Sheridan and their two children, John III aka Scooter, and Shiloh.
