Michael K. Shepard

Michael Shepard is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Environmental, Geographical, and Geological Sciences at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. He has a B.S. in Physics from Vanderbilt University and a Ph.D. in Earth and Planetary Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis. He studies asteroids using the Arecibo Radar in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and is especially interested in the asteroids thought to be made mostly of iron-nickel.
