Lecy McKenzie

Lecy McKenzie was born in Bastrop Louisiana in 1951 the eighth of nine children. She is a horror novelist with seven published novels to date. Being a writer for most of her life, Lecy's writings are inspired by the bedtime stories her mother told her. My mother, Lecy writes, would have been an excellent author, as she could spin her stories in such a way that no matter how far fetched they got, she would make them feel real. She was my inspiration as I write in honor of her, in her ability to bring people and places to life that made me believe in the unbelievable. Lecy had her first novel published in 2003, and in 2013 Lecy revamped, revised and re-horrified all six of her previous novels leading the way to the 2014 release of The Eyes Of Innocence An Incident On Endearing Lane. A novel that was five years in the making but Lecy feels was well worth the wait, terror came to Endearing Lane and no one saw it coming or maybe someone did? Lecy says you will need to open your eyes to see the signs as you read The Eyes of Innocence. Currently writing her eighth novel, A Ghostly Cry Too Justice Found Kayla's Way which is a chilling follow up to Lecy's first novel, A Ghostly Cry A Mother's Search For Justice From Beyond the Grave, in which justice will be just as thrilling the second time around. After spending twenty years in El Dorado, Arkansas and twenty years in Houston, Texas, in 2012 Lecy moved to Gravette, Arkansas, a quiet little town nestled near the mountains of Northwest Arkansas, it is a dream come true for her and a perfect place to continue her writing. You can follow Lecy at her website, www.lecysghostlybooks.com., on Facebook at Lecy's Ghostly Books and now on Twitter @lecysbooks. At Lecy's Ghostly Books, you can Feel The Chills!
