Duane R. Chartier

Duane Chartier began as a Ph.D. scientist in the Canadian nuclear industry. After a "psychotic break" caused by a disastrous meeting on nuclear waste management, he did an undergraduate degree in art history and then did a Masters of Art Conservation at Queen's University. Contributing to this large life transition he made the incredibly bad decision to work at an international organization in Rome where he proved definitively that technical skills can get you in deep trouble in a diplomatic world. Working in Los Angeles has allowed him to follow his love of art, manufacturing and warm weather.
