Pat McGauley

Minnesota author Pat McGauley is a former Hibbing High School teacher. Born in Duluth, Minnesota, McGauley grew up in Hoyt Lakes on the eastern Mesabi Iron Range. He graduated from Winona State University (BS:1964) and the University of Minnesota (MA). A former political candidate, iron mineworker, regional historian, and state agency commissioner under Governor Al Quie. McGauley resides in Hibbing, MN and Naples, FL.

McGauley's novels take a Hibbing Family through five generations--the past five are contemporary. He also has three children's books.
