Bruce LaFontaine

BRUCE LAFONTAINE is the writer and illustrator of fifty-nine published books for both children and adults. His non-fiction books are focused within the areas of history, science, transportation, and architecture. His works include Classic Cars of the Fifties, Famous Buildings of Frank Lloyd Wright, Mars Exploration: Fact and Fantasy, and others. His book Motorcycles

(1995) received the MVP Award from the American Motorcyclist Association. Mr. LaFontaine is featured in Something About the Author, and, the International Biographical Centre Who's Who of Authors, publications profiling prominent writers and illustrators. Although he writes the text for his books on a computer, he uses traditional drawing and painting techniques for his illustrations. He lives and works in the Rochester, New York area
