Recovering ad man who quit to write novels twenty years ago. Have written eight, one of which is published (Sleeping Dogs) and have two more coming out this year (Ads For God and Say Something Funny) and a fourth and fifth in 2015 (Client From Hell & I'm Not From the South But I Got Down Here As Fast As I Could). Live on a farm in Central Virginia with my wife, four dogs and a Sicilian donkey named Jethro. Have a non-fiction book out, Writing With The Master, about writing Sleeping Dogs under the tutelage of a good friend who's a writer and happens to have the last name, Grisham. Life is about pushing the writing rock uphill and reveling in country life, having a bunch of good drinks, eating well and enjoying the accomplishments of our four children and basking in the self-adulation of having raised them all beautifully! Not to mention the constant company of my glamorous and talented wife who I am so privileged to share a deep and rewarding relationship with.
