Michael Crisp was born in Ann Arbor Michigan, but moved with his family to Georgetown, Kentucky at the age of 4. After graduating from Georgetown College in 1991, Michael worked extensively as a professional musician, touring the country as a singer/songwriter.
Michael decided to channel his creative side into a writing career, which began with his 2010 book "The Making of The Very Worst Thing," which detailed his experiences directing his first documentary film. The next year, he released "Murder in the Mountains: The Muriel Baldridge Story," which revisited one of the nation's most notorious cold case homicide investigations. Michael followed this book up with a series of travel compendiums, "The Kentucky Bucket List," "The Ohio Bucket List," and "The Tennessee Bucket List."
His novel "Blue Shirts," released in 2015, is Michael's first foray into fiction.
