Deirdrie LoVerso

Deirdrie LoVerso was born in New York, lived in Florida, Georgia, and now resides in Cherry Hill, NJ. She is a multi-talented author who has honed in on her vast writing abilities and abundant imagination to bring to children fun, humorous, and educational books. She is the author of numerous children's books, including 'Jade Made Me Do It!', 'Vowels: Long Sounds, Short Sounds', and 'The Untruth About the Tooth'. Surprisingly, she began writing at age 4 and has always had an almost effortless knack for writing songs, poems, and stories.

She attended a high school for the gifted, majoring in Securities and Finance, was a member of the National Honor Society/Arista and received an award for creative writing. She's an alumni of CW Post/Long Island University. Being an avid reader, Deirdrie LoVerso believes that learning and education need not end with college. As most gifted individuals are (because they have the ability to quickly learn almost anything with ease), she has various interests and an array of acquired skills. She commenced 18 years of corporate office work at the tender age of 14, as a File Clerk, continued as a Secretary/Receptionist, and Administrative Assistant. As a natural relationship builder, she's held successful sales positions, including Realtor. Deirdrie is a proud mother who enjoys singing, playing chess, and working on her soon-to-be-published Daily Affirmations and horror books.
