Lee Karr

A life long fan of filmmaker George Romero, Lee Karr has authored two books on the making of films Romero's production company, Laurel Entertainment, produced in the mid 1980's. In "The Making of George A. Romero's Day of the Dead" and "The Making of Creepshow 2" Karr explores the journey those films took from inception to release. In addition to the two books he has also penned magazine articles for Horrorhound and Famous Monsters; as well as logging set visits for the now defunct website Home Page of the Dead for Romero's Canadian shot trilogy: “Land of the Dead", "Diary of the Dead", and "Survival of the Dead". Born in Savannah, Ga he now calls Pittsburgh, Pa home.
