Pat Chalfant's Bio

Pat Chalfant, formerly a skeptic, says life really began only after she moved to Los Angeles and discovered the Edgar Cayce work, which eased her into a meditation class. She didn't dream then that her B.A. in English education would one day be used teaching and writing about mediumship!

The subject of spirituality became such a passion with her as time went on, that she began writing about it. She first sold a parapsychology column and interview articles about Hollywood movie stars and their psychics to the Tattler newspaper chain. Later, while editing the APRT Newsletter (for psychologists employing past life therapy techniques in their practice), she did interview articles with the west coast pioneers of past life therapy--which will be her next book.

A psychic fair reader predicted she would be a "famous trance medium" when she only wanted to ask him when she'd get another singing gig. She told him she would never be a medium!

Years later, she developed mediumship abruptly during the healing meditation in a Religious Science church service one Sunday. A CARE-credentialed medium, she now reads and teaches mediumship internationally "online and off," thanks to the Internet. She still sings and has written three hymns that are in the NSAC Hymnal, Fifth Edition and a "Spirit Lights Song Book" which can be found on www.patchalfant.com, but she is now a medium, just as that medium predicted and can't think of anything she would rather be!
