About the Author

Laurie Lyons is the proud author of the fantasy series “The Feather Trilogy,” originally published by Ring of Fire Books, her most widely read and loved works and a favourite among long-time readers. She is also the author of the popular dystopian novel “The Wilds.” Additional works include the short stories “The Heart Tree” and “The Gatherers,” published by Little Bird Publishing House, and “Bloodlines,” published by Twisted Core Press. All titles are available on Amazon in all countries.

Laurie began writing stories at the age of eight and hasn’t really stopped since. Over the years, her books have continued to find readers and resonate in unexpected ways, something she remains both humbled and deeply proud of. She lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with her handsome husband, Trevor. Their grown children remain close, with family always at the heart of her world.

Laurie has a deep appreciation for storytelling and will always make time to read, whether for others or for herself, finding simple joy in getting lost in a good book. She only hopes that her stories offer readers the same sense of connection, wonder, and absorbing escape.
