Carlos Lischetti

Carlos Lischetti is a renowned sugar artist, most recognized for his modelling projects based on designs from Elio Lischetti - illustrator, hobby photographer and his twin brother. They combined their talents and experience in both sugarcraft and animation, to create the successful books "Animation in Sugar" and "Animation in Sugar: Take 2".

As a small boy, Carlos was most happy in the kitchen of the family home, baking cakes and experimenting with sugar paste decoration. His career began longer than 20 years ago, working for a local bakery in Rosario, Argentina, where he learnt how to combine good recipes with clean decoration. Carlos then decided to follow his growing curiosity and continued his training in Buenos Aires, Paris and London. He has learned from the best sugar artists and pastry chefs to master the techniques of cake design.

Carlos spends currently most of his time teaching in several international culinary schools around the world, while developing new projects and ideas.
