Douglas Ready

Douglas Meredith Ready is the author of the thriller novels FROST and SECOND SHOT featuring Seattle PI Micah Frost. The final volume in the trilogy--A VERY BLUE MOON--is scheduled for publication November, 2026.

His business books for the beginning professional artist include SELLING YOUR ART and THE PROFESSIONAL CARTOONIST'S BUSINESS MANUAL & MARKETING GUIDE.

A cartoonist and illustrator as well, Doug created the comic features BEACH DRIVE and AKA MORGUE, and the comic book BRAMBLE, as well as producing illustrations for books, magazines, greeting cards, posters, coloring books, and designing a variety of products for the consumer goods industries (paper products, plush toys, etcetera).

Doug and the love of his life Mona live in the Pacific Northwest.
