Originally from Brazil, Alessandra Cave, a world-traveler at heart, moved to the US in her early twenties to build a life immersed in creativity. She is an editorial and commercial photographer, film producer, writer, speaker and teacher, who is extremely passionate about that sweet spot where art + soul + business + life intersect. She currently lives in San Francisco juggling a variety of assignments, while also raising her amazing 4 year old daughter. Alessandra holds a Master of Arts degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design, but she considers herself completely self-taught when it comes to photography. A former contributor to Shutter Sisters, the widely acclaimed photo blog celebrating women photographers, and a regular columnist for the Digital Photo Magazine, Alessandra is passionate about inspiring and empowering women to pick up a camera and follow their creative dreams. Her work has been featured extensively on the Internet as well as in national and international publications. You can follow her work and journey at www.alessandracave.com.
