Alex Hooper-Hodson is well known as 'the sex expert with the tattoos' from MTV & Channel 5's breakthrough hit educational reality show 'Sex Pod' & 'Celebrity Sex Pod' where he dispenses up to date sex advice to 18-24 year olds across the country.
Alex describes himself as an author, advice columnist and TV sex expert. He has written three books 'The Boy Files', '52 Teen Boy Problems & How To Solve Them' and '52 Teen Girl Problems & How To Solve Them' for Wayland Books, a division of Hachette Children's Books. All three have made it into Amazon's best seller charts, two of them being number one best sellers for extended periods of time.
All Alex's books have been sold internationally with 'The Boy Files' being issued in foreign language editions from 2017 - the first of which was its translation into Danish with the title 'Drenge Sager'.
Alex began his career as the agony uncle of Sugar magazine for whom he wrote a column for six years starting in September 2004 and ending in February 2010. Alex then wrote a regular weekly sex and relationships column Sex Talk With Alex for the Scottish newspaper The Daily Record. After 3 years of producing Sex Talk on a weekly basis Alex then switched roles to take over the popular Teen Talk column.
Alex has two sons, Loki & Zachary Hooper-Hodson, and lives in Brighton. He is in a relationship with Rachael Welsh.
