James Brubaker lives in Missouri. His short stories have appeared or are forthcoming in venues including Zoetrope: All Story, Booth, Michigan Quarterly Review, The Normal School, Hayden's Ferry Review, Indiana Review, Web Conjunctions, Sundog Lit, The Collagist, and Monkeybicycle among others.
