David Skivington

David Skivington is a crime thriller author, raising awareness on human rights issues through his work. His debut novel Scar Tissue is set in Kolkata, where he spent 6 months volunteering with street children. He was compelled to write Scar Tissue to raise awareness on human trafficking after being approached in the street and offered young girls.

He recently lived in Andhra Pradesh volunteering in an orphanage school and after visiting a charity working against children being dedicated to certain temples as prostitutes he wrote his second novel 'Blessed, Bound and Broken'. This is another crime thriller looking at the lives of 3 women which intertwine in a dark world of corruption, superstition and fear.
