Orlando Charria is a dreamer, writer, scientist, ecologist and enthusiast of innovation . He grew up simply in the rural lands. He is an Electronic Engineer with wide experience on industrial automation, with specialization studies on Machine Vision in The Netherlands and with a MSc on Environmental Sciences.
In the last years, based on his interdisciplinary background, he has developed several applications and inventions to solve big environmental problems: He is making the design of the First Electrovalve for Climate Change to harvest waste and rain water, he also designs Vertical Agriculture Growth Units (VAGUs) to produce food under harsh environmental conditions and restricted resources of land and water. Another very important design is a Human Powered Generator for people to produce electrical energy while working out.
He believes that children are the future so, he started a collection of books about robotics for children, which help them to understand science and develop creativity.
