Heather Masri

I’ve been a science fiction fan since I was a kid growing up with books like Madeleine L’Engle’s A Wrinkle in Time and TV shows like Star Trek. I am currently a faculty member in Liberal Studies—a global, interdisciplinary undergraduate program at NYU. My teaching includes a variety of World Literature & Arts courses including, of course, Science Fiction—which I teach as often as I can!

I am a member of the Science Fiction Research Association and serve on the editorial staff of the New York Review of Science Fiction. My anthologies grew out of my experience teaching science fiction courses and reflect my interest in cross-disciplinary studies.
