Breanna Rutter is the author of over 14 hair care books, over 20 hairstyling DVDs and the founder of How To Black Hair.

Born and raised in the South Side of Chicago, Ill, Breanna found comfort in her passions for black hair and reading during a time when Chicago's increasingly staggering crime rate made it difficult to walk the streets without being surrounded by gang activity and violence.

Breanna later relocated to Michigan right before her teenage years and during this time, she focused on expanding her knowledge of hair care and practicing the art of hairstyling.

Today, Mrs. Breanna Rutter runs a very successful business that receives millions of views per month through her website and YouTube channels for her online content.

Breanna Rutter's goal is to continue to educate those who have a passion for hair across the world on everything there is to know about hair care and styling.
