Yigal Tzadka

Growing up in Jerusalem surrounded by the rich history and diverse culture which pervade the holy city, Yigal Tzadka always nurtured interest in the Bible, Jewish history and the Hebrew language. He has pursued these interests throughout his life, studying Archaeology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem before becoming a tour guide in Jerusalem and throughout Israel, and then establishing and running an educational publishing house with his wife Liora. Since the company was founded, the Tzadka family has grown and their three children have all played various roles in the family business over the years.

For over three decades, the HebrewToday family has grown, as well, publishing a number of educational platforms for those wishing to learn the Hebrew language while gaining knowledge about Israeli culture and the basics of the rich Judeo-Christian tradition, in addition to numerous other educational publications for students both young and old from around the world.

After being approached by some of his students who wanted to learn more specifically about Biblical Hebrew, Yigal and his team are now putting their decades of experience and scholarship to work with the publication of Biblical Hebrew Magazine, which allows even those with little or no knowledge of Ancient Hebrew to experience and understand the wonders of the Bible in its original language.
