Dr. Nuruzzaman is a lecturer at University of Petroleum and Minerals at Dhahran in Eastern Province (KFUPM). In his current position he teaches various courses and/or laboratories of Electrical Engineering. His pedagogical experience is quite long - more than twenty five years.
His research areas of interest include algorithmic or semi artificial intelligence (AI) based image animation, translational overture as special effect, digital image thinning, coding complex engineering process, genetic algorithm, planar antenna pattern synthesis, and null steering in two dimensional antenna arrays. He has published/presented many articles in research journals including International Journal of Electronics and Pacific Journal of Science and Technology, is best known regionally for coding complex processes of electrical engineering, conducted numerous workshops on electrical engineering majors, and achieved outstanding in teaching by Ministry of Higher Education for student-centric approaches.
He authored more than a dozen books and the list includes “Basic Electric Circuit Computing and Graphing in Python”, “3D FD on Laplacian for Computational Electromagnetics in MATLAB”, “Solving Electronic Circuits in MATLAB and SIMULINK”, “Control System Analysis & Design in MATLAB and SIMULINK”, “Finite Difference Fundamentals in MATLAB”, “Digital Image: Theories, Algorithms, and Applications”, “Digital Audio Fundamentals in MATLAB”, “Modern Approach to Solving Electromagnetics in MATLAB”, “Signal and System Fundamentals in MATLAB and SIMULINK”, “Electric Circuit Fundamentals in MATLAB and SIMULINK”, "Technical Computation and Visualization in MATLAB for Engineers and Scientists", "Digital Image Fundamentals in MATLAB", "Modeling and Simulation in SIMULINK for Engineers and Scientists", and "Tutorials on Mathematics to MATLAB". He is passionate about environment and ecology protection. The world is worried about global warming, climate change, and green house effects. Something more sinister is on the horizon whose scientific account he presented in the title “Mother of All Destructions”.
His BS, MSc, and PhD degrees are all in Electrical Engineering concentrations.
