Sylvie Kantorovitz

Sylvie Kantorovitz is the author of SYLVIE, a graphic memoir about becoming an artist, that Kirkus Reviews called "comforting, warm, calm, and deeply satisfying."

She has illustrated many picture books, including the bestselling WHEELS ON THE BUS, a Raffi Song to Read. She is now telling stories in comics -- or graphic novel -- form, as with the MONTI AND LEO series and with A NEW CAR FOR PICKLE.

She was born in Casablanca, grew up in France, and now lives in New York's Hudson Valley with her partner, author-illustrator Barbara Lehman.
