Aj tolissano

Aj Tolissano (São Gonçalo 1975) is a theologian, writer, editor, poet and screenwriter (not necessarily in that order). Married to writer Elis Barroso. Father of Davi and Clara, Currently lives in São Gonçalo.

In 2007 he published his first book of poetry, Minhas Mulheres dos Outros.

In 2015 he published a Portuguese version of the Bible in digital version.

In 2016 he participated in the anthology Short Narratives FLUPP PENSA 2016- Casa da Palavra-Leya.

In 2017 he released Quadrado Sujo, a collection of 13 short stories and Eva, a dystopia acclaimed by critics and audiences. In the same year he competed with the novel Schizophrenia for the Kindle Prize for Literature.

2018 launched the psychological horror novel Psicopatas S/A. He also participated in the anthology Canta Forte, Conta Alto FLUP PENSA 2018-FUNARTE and 90 Years of Malandragem FLUP PENSA 2018-FUNARTE.

He participated in the Short Narrative Workshops – Flup 2016-2018.

He also participated in the Black Narratives Laboratories for Audiovisual – Flup/Film2B/ Rede Globo 2017-2019.

In 2021, after spending three years away from fiction, he released Taxidermy or Stuffed Hearts, a collection of psychological horror tales.
