I enjoy working with fellow veterans in advocating for those who've been let drop between the cracks. I write best about the things I know, and in this crazy world, the thing I know best is the military. Having had my own intended career cut short by a repeat-offending drunk driver just five months to the day after I was married, I feel I still need to help my vets, in any capacity that I can since I did not get to serve with the original intent of a life time.There are still lots of haters in my world, but I figure not everybody has it in them to understand why I do what I do. Those who can not tell the stories that still need to be told are often the ones who choose to berate and condemn. And that's ok.
