Ed Abell

Wisconsin has always been my home.

My love of art in grade school sustained itself through high school, college (Layton School of Art - Industrial Design) and a thirty-three year design/management career. I began writing when I left the drawing board.

Writing chronicles about family and personal adventures lead to writing my first book.

'My Father's Keep' was published in January 2014.

My promotional strategy included entering twelve independent publishing contests.

As of June, five contests have been completed. The book has received the following awards:

Next Generation Indie Book Awards - Gold Medal Finalist - Relathionships category.

Paris Book Festival - Honorable Mention - General Non-Fiction category. (International Award)
