Dawn G. Marsh

Dawn Marsh is an associate professor at Purdue University. She teaches and researches Native American and Indigenous history. She is known for her lively public lectures and her advocacy of recovering the stories of those who are left out of familiar historical narratives. Her research asks new questions of the archival and material evidence and applies innovative methods of analysis. Currently she is working on an Indigenous history of Indiana and a study of pre-contact Native crossroads that were transformed into colonial cities.
