Joseph Herrin

Joseph Herrin (Born May 7, 1961) began life in the state of Georgia (USA). As a small child he moved with his family to the Pacific Northwest where he attended public school in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon. At the age of 14 he returned to Georgia where he has remained since. At the age of 38 he wrote his first book, "The Remnant Bride," and has to date (October 2015) authored 20 books. He posts frequently to his two websites, ParablesBlog and Heart4God.

Since 1999 Joseph has ministered outside the camp of mainstream Christianity. He has carried on an active Internet ministry, and in 2009 also began a teaching ministry to men in prison, sending out hundreds of newsletters every month. The insights shared in his numerous books were received through a lifelong love and study of the Bible, and while sitting at God's feet, being instructed by Him. (I John 2:27)

Joseph lives an non-traditional life, ministering full-time in obedience to God's call in 1999. His life is marked by the living presence of God, as he looks to Him daily for guidance, provision, and strength. Joseph converted a 1972 model Carpenter school bus into a motorhome. Christened "The Dreamer" in honor of Joseph in the book of Genesis, this "Skoolie" has been his residence, office, and ministry center since January 1, 2011. He has learned the blessing of contentment, and the freedom of living a simple life without debt since the year 2000.
