Growing up an Indiana farm girl, thrift came naturally. In my memoir "There's a Clydesdale in the Attic: Reflections on Keeping and Letting Go" you'll find references to those early years and to the people, memories, moments, stories, and events that came after.
The book is a collection of essays about cleaning out the attic and finding more than stuff. Topics range from faith to family, failure and success, nostalgia and lessons learned. I hope my words encourage deep dives into your own storied stuff.
This memoir of sorts is my third book. The first two are Christian fiction: "Sweetland of Liberty Bed & Breakfast" and the sequel "That Sweet Place: At Home in the Heartland." I show how trusting God is believing that He walks with us through life.
