Jon Paschetto

I am a PGA Professional with 20 years teaching experience and currently living in Atlanta, Georgia. As a golf instructor to juniors and father of two young boys I often see the need to help kids in many different areas of learning golf. I often took notes and began a notebook of these many topics ranging from rules, swing fundamentals, etiquette , sportsmanship, definition of terms, etc. 'Junior Golf in Pictures' is end product of these notes made into a organized, comprehensive handbook covering almost all the topics that are important at a junior level. I feel there is no other junior book written specifically for juniors at their reading level that is as well illustrated with photos or covers as many topics as this book. It encourages reading and is a fabulous way to introduce a junior to the game but is also great for juniors who already have some golf experience.

'A Junior Golf Book' is written for the junior golfer who has progressed beyond the novice level. It is jam packed with recommendations , drills , and photographs specifically designed for pre-teen and teenage kids wishing to play competitively. More than just your typical 'swing fix' tips, this book presents putting, swing and short game lessons and recommendations related to practice, tournament play, recreational play, fitness, ball flight, etiquette, course management, golf rules, and lots more.

About the Author

As an outstanding junior golfer in his home state of Massachusetts, Jon successfully competed in many local, state, and national junior golf tournaments. In recognition of his many achievements Jon was recently inducted into his high school's Sports Hall of Fame.

Upon graduating from high school Jon was awarded the prestigious Francis Ouimet golf scholarship in addition to receiving a golf scholarship to Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida where he was a member of the golf team.

Jon began his professional golf career as a PGA apprentice at Lake Nona CC in Orlando, Florida and earned his class A PGA card in 1997.

Jon has a passion for teaching golf, and especially for teaching golf to juniors. "Junior Golf in Pictures" is the result of his years of teaching experience, coaching experience and his love for the game. Jon currently resides with his wife and sons, Nick and Chris in Atlanta, Georgia.
