Darrell Fusaro

Darrell Fusaro is an author, illustrator, and U.S. Coast Guard veteran whose work reveals the timeless wisdom hidden within America's most familiar symbols and the everyday principles that lead to happier, more successful living.

His diverse career has included military service, fine art, filmmaking, and television. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for strengthening relationships between the military and civilian law enforcement community, exhibited alongside Andy Warhol at Magidson Fine Art in New York City, contributed special effects model work for the film "Con Air," and later produced the Emmy-nominated "Local Edition" on CNN.

Today, he continues to write and speak about the timeless ideas that inspire courage, purpose, and joyful living.

His self-illustrated books include "What If Godzilla Just Wanted a Hug? Leading with the Heart Instead of the Chin", "Step Out Boldly: The Hidden Meaning of The Statue of Liberty" and "Break Out of Your Box: Be Your Heroic Self" (Under the pseudonym Foozaro).
