Tobias Bachmann

Tobias Bachmann was born in Erlangen in 1977 and has lived with his family in a small town in the Franconian Lake District since 2009. He works primarily in rehabilitation assistance. He is also a writing therapist and media educator. He is a musician.

Since 1998, he has published numerous short stories and novels, several of which have received awards (Vincent Prize) or been nominated for them (Vincent Prize, German Science Fiction Prize, SERAPH).

Bachmann's literary spectrum is multifaceted and broad, but always centered around the suspense novel. He writes crime novels, thrillers, science fiction, horror, and dark erotica. He has authored several paperback novels in the "Gespenster-Krimi" series for Bastei Verlag. Bachmann has also worked as a ghostwriter.
