She is a versatile authoress in true words, if I say so, this is not an exaggeration. Her name is Chitra Garg. She has been writing articles and books since 1974. Her recent book of stories ‘Kya Gunah Kiya’ and ‘Mai na Sunati Kisi Ki’ can prove this fact. One book tells the stories of new age subjects like gay relations, surrogacy, etc the other book reflects the family and society life.

Her mettle is unparalleled. Her 111 books have been published and many others are in the pipeline. In the Amrit Mahotsav of India’s freedom, she has written ‘Desh bhakhton ki Amar Kahania’ (about to publish by a famous Delhi Publisher).

A supporter of dedicated thoughts, conscious of preserving traditions and rites, Smt. Chitra Garg, who has equal grasp on mother tongue Hindi as well as on English, has been enriching Hindi literature for the last 48 years through her succinct writings. While fulfilling the responsibility of a complete housewife, Chitra Garg has made a remarkable contribution to Hindi and English literature by writing more than a hundred books on various subjects. Her creation journey continues uninterruptedly, and her writings are keeping their hold on new topics in various fields. Before writing on any subject, her research approach on the entire subject is her specialty and her love and dedication towards Hindi language is commendable. In my view, the work of Smt. Chitra Garg for the service and quality writing of Hindi literature is commendable.

Chitra Agrawal (maiden name, born in small town Faridpur, U.P.), had been a multi-talented and meritorious student from her childhood and remained popular in school by receiving prizes in various programs and competitions during her schooling and also during her youth due to her settled ideology and creative aptitude. She was very active in college. Now after 68 completing years of life (date of birth October 8, 1954), her writing is continuously active with the same enthusiasm and awareness, which is a testament to her tireless practice.

She has equal contribution to both, electronic media and print media. Her channel on YouTube namely 'LogicTouch' is very popular channel, through which there is an interesting presentation of correct use of spelling, correct grammar, various forms of words and idioms etc. The pure knowledge of Hindi can be easily learned and understood. Undoubtedly, this channel rich in interesting and informative content have increased her fame.

She is fond of travelling and travelled to 51 countries with her husband Dinesh Garg. Therefore, she has known, understood and expressed the culture from the town to the foreign countries in her writings. Reading her travelogue, the reader experiences herself as a traveller.

Chitra Garg, who is interested in social work, contributes as much as possible from time to time by being associated with many educational and social institutions. In her birthplace, Faridpur, she has been providing regular scholarships and financial assistance to talented students in many schools. To motivate the children towards values and knowledge, it also distributes books free of cost at many places.
