Dr. Charles Vogan

Charles Vogan grew up near Pittsburgh, but moved South to pursue his education and raise his family. Interests include portrait drawing, motorcycling, woodworking, ham radio, and astronomy.

Vogan has received four degrees in Biblical Studies. He has written 47 books to date, and created over 150 videos - with more to come! He has been a pastor of two churches over ten years, as well as a university professor.

His specialty is pulling the Old and New Testaments together as one story, and bringing out the "data" of the Bible stories to reveal the principles behind our Christian faith. His "magnum opus" is his recently published "Biblical Theology for Pastors and Teachers", a project that has been on his mind for 40 years. The theme of the book is that God has been training people to live with him as his Sons (both in Israel's day as well as in the Church age), just as Jesus relates to the Father within the Trinity. The book "Father and Son" is a short introduction to this Theology that will appeal to a much wider audience.

Four of his latest titles are in-depth studies of the Church -- what is happening in the modern Church, and what ought to be happening as the Apostles taught us.
