Dee Leone

Dee Leone is the author of COUNTING CREATURES AND THEIR FEATURES (coming 2026), DOUGH KNIGHTS & DRAGONS, NATURE'S LULLABY FILLS THE NIGHT, and BIZZ & BIZZ MAKE HONEY BUNS. Free activity kits and links to book trailers can be found on her website.

The author has also written 20 reproducible books for the educational market covering a wide range of subjects. In addition, more than 200 of her word puzzles, poems, plays, short stories, and teaching ideas have appeared in magazines and anthologies.

Dee taught at the elementary level, was a gifted program aide, and tutored college math. Her interests include amateur photography, scrapbooking, and travel (except for the actual traveling part). She enjoys devouring books and chocolate.
