Jim Burson

Dr. James (Jim) Burson, creator of Solution-Based Basketball®, is known as a "coach's coach" (Sports Illustrated) for his lifetime commitment to the game. He is a consultant to basketball coaches and to sports companies including Nike. He is a popular motivational speaker, past president of the National Association of Basketball Coaches and a member of the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame, where he is also on the board of directors. He is author of "The Golden Whistle ~ Going Beyond: Journey to Coaching Success" (2014) and "The Daily Nugget: Motivations for Basketball Coaches and Everyone Who Loves the Game" (2015) He taught and coached at Muskingum University (Ohio) for more than 40 years and holds a PhD from Ohio State University.
