P. Jablon

Peter Jablon was born and raised in a rural New England farming community. As with other neighboring children, he began to work at an early age as a farmhand on a nearby dairy farm. At age 14 he officially began to pay into Social Security at his first legal job: Tobacco Picker. Again, as some neighboring children did, Jablon left home early for the military at age 18, mainly to escape the rural doldrums. After active duty Jablon continued to serve in the military reserves for a total of twenty-three years combined honorable service. Jablon also served for twenty consecutive years in the fields of substance abuse counseling and parole officer and prison social services. There are substantial numbers of facts supporting Jablon’s successes in helping many addicts, parolees, and convicts turn their lives around into positive ventures. During retirement today, Mr. Jablon provides free counseling part-time at a local community outreach center in a small town.
