Chuck Lanham

Charles (Chuck) R. Lanham was ordained into the Permanent Diaconate September 17, 2011.

He currently serves the parish of Saint Albert the Great Catholic Community of the Diocese of Reno, Nevada. He is the Director of Adult Faith Formation and Homebound Ministries for the parish, conducts frequent adult faith formation workshops, and is a frequent homilist. He writes a weekly column for the parish bulletin and is a contributor to the Diocesan newspaper.

The first of eleven children born into a large Catholic family, he is happily married to Janet, his wife of forty-six years; they have two daughters and five grandchildren.

He holds undergraduate degrees in History & Political Science, and Business Administration, and a graduate degree in Computer Science. He is a Vietnam Veteran, who served in the U.S. Army for nine years. He has worked at several large computer and software companies, and has founded three startup businesses. He is the author of numerous technical papers and two books and currently shares a patent for a remote monitoring device.

He lives in Reno, Nevada, just minutes away from the shores of Lake Tahoe; you cannot get much closer to heaven than there.
