Born in Montreal, Canada Dr. Gary McCarragher received his medical training at McGill University and enjoyed a successful career as a gastroenterologist in the Tampa Bay area before becoming a hospice physician in 2009.
As part of his passionate advocacy for hospice care, Dr. McCarragher has a website dedicated to hospice and has published numerous articles on palliative care.
Dr. McCarragher also enjoys the arts, music, and performing in community theatre, where he received an award for Best Actor. He currently lives in the Tampa Bay area
Published in 2013, Unhinged is his first published novel. After the initial release and success of Unhinged, McCarrager dove into writing his second novel - The Imperfect Offering. Released just 5 years later in 2018 The Imperfect Offering has received numerous national awards.
