P.D. Quaver

After enjoying a long career as a professional pianist, I am now semi-retired. Always

a voracious and omnivorous reader, I've spent the past decade pursuing a life dream by

reinventing myself as a novelist. Under the pen name "P.D. Quaver," I completed a nine

volume series of historical novels. Entitled "The Ordeals of Elly Robin," they recount the

adventures of a young musical prodigy, orphaned by the Great San Francisco Earthquake

of 1906, and cast adrift upon the world.

Something of a Luddite, I've managed to resist the siren attractions of the internet,

and--with no social footprint whatsoever--have elected to preserve this anonymity by

joining the Goodreads community under my pen name. Nevertheless, I look forward to

communing with my fellow readers, and sharing thoughts about my lifetime love affairs

with music and literature.
